Cheating in Kour.io is a concerning issue that undermines fair play and is strictly disallowed by the game's developers. Some players attempt to exploit the game by using scripts or files obtained from websites hosting unauthorized modifications. These cheats are often installed as browser extensions, giving an unfair advantage, disrupting the experience for others and/or damage your device and account.
Players must keep in mind, that cheating is discouraged by LEGiON Platforms and players who decide to cheat will be subject to consequences such as real IP bans, bans from the community discord, and loss of in-game progress. LEGiON Platforms is continuously working on pushing out a new anti-cheat each update in an attempt to keep Kour.io clean and free of dishonest players trying to gain an unfair advantage.

How to spot a cheater
- If a player is moving faster than normal movement speed, they are likely using cheats
- If a player is flicking constantly with precise hits (especially to the head), they are likely using cheats
- If a player is seamlessly able to find people around the map and predict gunfire accordingly, they are likely using cheats
- If a player is never missing shots, especially with an auto weapon, they are likely using cheats
- If a player pretends to be an admin/developer and asks for any account details
